Ever heard your car make strange, unknown sounds? And wondered, what does that mean? Here are a few common issues the everyday driver may experience.
Car not driving straight
If you find yourself wrestling the wheel to keep your vehicle driving straight, it’s most likely out of alignment. Making sure your wheel is aligned will not only help with being safer on the road and having better handling. But as a bonus, it also helps with fuel efficiency, as well as the tire performance and tire wear. You’ll find that once it’s aligned, your car will drive a lot better!

Flat tire
Ever experienced a flat tire while driving? When a tire loses a significant amount of pressure, it starts sounding like a weird tempo of slapping sounds on the road. So it’s really important to stop driving when that happens, in order to avoid causing further damage to your vehicle. Leaking liquids while parked
If you notice a puddle of liquids under your parked car, make sure to investigate further. If the liquid is oily but clear, it may be a leak from the power steering fluid. This kind of leak is generally around the pump or the power steering rack. But if the liquid is oily and darker, it’s usually a puddle of oil that leaked. This often happens right after an oil change gone wrong. The person who changed the oil, installed the oil filter incorrectly or damaged the oil drain plug. There’s also a few other kinds of leaks such as a reddish brown, oily fluid. It may be your transmission seal or a line running on the trans cooler that has been punctured. Now if the liquid has a burnt smell to it, it means that your transmission may need some repairs.
Squealing Vehicle
You may notice a squeaking sound when starting the engine, accelerating or while driving, this can mean a number of things. These strange noises can be viewed as early warning signs. Because a car has numerous moving parts, it’s important to pay attention to these signs and take action. The squeaking sounds may often be related to belts under the hood, brake pads, worn or loose fan belt, damaged plastic interior parts and more.
