Jasper national park is gigantic park with the most spectacular views!! Located in a charming small town in Alberta, in the Canadian rockies. From outdoor activities to indoor ones, this national park is a great idea for a family trip.
It includes fun adventures such as exploring canyons to canoeing breathtaking crystal blue lakes to joining all sorts of tours! The luxurious train tour is definitely on our list, it’s a 3 hour tour exploring the rockies via the lavish Skeena train. The train will stop at various exciting locations, so make sure to bring your camera! From beautiful waterfalls to the Pacific ocean, this trip will provide endless photo opportunities and great memories!
Jasper National Parks also includes great ways to unwind and relax. Starting with the Miette Hot Springs that has two hot pools and two cool pools both outdoors. This hot springs is surrounded by stunning mountain views and countless greenery. Afterwards, enjoy the local cuisine experience, presenting various choices from Swiss cuisine to delicious Mexican tapas!
One activity that is on our list is the sky! What is so exciting about that? I’m glad you asked! We’re actually excited about the “dark sky preserve”. The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada created an environment with little to no artificial light, allowing the national park to have a dark sky preserve and for thousands of stars to appear to the human eye. Sounds magical! It’s the perfect location to enjoy star gazing and to enjoy Jasper through a telescope! Jasper national park also has its own planetarium, providing fun tours for every age to enjoy! Such as orbiting the earth and learning more about the solar system. These tours include exploring the northern light, the milky way, local constellations and more.
Before heading out on a long road trip, we recommend taking care of a few car essentials to make sure you make the most of your vacation. Starting with the car fluids such as the oil, coolant, brake, windshield and more. It’s also important to take care of the air pressure of the tire to ensure a smooth ride. This will especially be great if you have a passengers that tend to get car sick! We also suggest making sure the air filter is clean and that all the lights are working.
