Your family is growing at a rapid pace and space is somewhat of a struggle when it comes to car rides. In this article, we’ll be listing a few SUVs and vans that we consider 2016’s best family car. When we were on the hunt for the best vehicle for our family, we looked at many different factors, and the most important one was safety! At the end of the day, we wanted a safe car that is reliable, spacious and comfortable for all of our family members. Of course, we also looked at which cars are best on fuel savings and the vehicle’s design was also on our minds. But ultimately we always went back to safety and focusing on that.
All of our suggestions will consider our checklist that we mentioned above. Alright, let’s start with SUVs! SUVs are a great options for families that want to remain stylish, they definitely have an edge over vans design wise. But that’s not all they have going for them, SUVs provide a lot of safety features, one of our favourite feature is the visibility factor. If comparing to a smaller vehicle such as a sedan, you will notice an advantage when drive in a SUV. The visibility is comforting and most importantly, very safe. It’s important to see what goes on the road and not have you vision blocked by most vehicles when you are driving a smaller car. Also some SUVs are great on fuel consumption, of course they vary depending on weight, shape and sizes. SUVs have a surprising amount of space and storage, and they are very comfortable. They definitely shine over a sedan when going on a road trip or just a longer drive. The SUVs we’ll mention below are also very fun to drive, which is always a plus!

We mentioned SUVs have an edge over vans design wise, but vans have definitely stepped it up in 2016 and are looking better than ever. Vans have a huge advantage when it comes to space and comfort, they are so so spacious! Vans are definitely the better choice for a bigger family or even if you just want more space. If you are a family that enjoys a few road trips a year, these vehicles will make you love them even more and maybe encourage you to take a couple extra ones. Vans are of course very safe and provide great visibility on the road, take a peak at which vans we are loving for the year 2016!
